Ah man, strange, i started off designing a character for one of my martial arts stories, but just as i got the basics of the piece down i went off in a totally different direction, giving her faced wings and ting, havta finish off original sum time.. Whilest goin down this path i devised a new story, set in an alternative present. Heres character called The Gate, basically there are multiple realms, and to pass them you havta use the Gate guardians, this is one of them.. She is quite powerful, but needs the wings to open the gate, shes influenced by 'Slayer' in GGxx, the way she fights and her personality is similer.
The Korean on her belly means 'Gate', but might change it and give her a more personal names, as i just remembered there are more than one gate lol.. She has two faces on her wings, these are the wings personalities.. When someone wants to cross over they will study him/her and if satisfied thier mouths open up and the person walks thru, here you can see Gate teasing one of them, hes the grumpy one lol.. Theres more to it than that but i havent written this many words since my dissertation so im gona call it quits for now :S  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Yeh, my first idea was that the wings steal peoples souls and there would be a collection of faces in them.. lol But kinda been done more than the idea i chose.. lol..
thanks, kinda wanted a bit of scary atmosphere with them, but thought i didint pull it across :S lol

yeh, well her fighting technique and attitude is like slayer, laidback, confident.. but i guess looking at her now, the wing idea reminds me of dizzy in GGxx.. hmmmm lol.. but the confidence idea is brought thu because like slayer she is almost imortal.. in a way :S

I like the idea of the faces passing judgement on the person before allowing them through!!
By the way the girl, for me, reminds of Palpatine, but yeah you have a brilliant idea going on here,

Yeh idea, wanna take it further.. when doing this i had a whole 4 worlds thought out.. but was just in note form in my head, havta take it further indeed.. thanks man
